Runs local APIs, services, cache and operational workflows inside the venue, FOH rack or production network.
Eventhacker Xchanger
19-inch Linux Edge Node for Event Infrastructure
Central connected. Locally autonomous.
What the Xchanger does
The Eventhacker Xchanger is a 19-inch Linux edge appliance that connects local event infrastructure with the central Eventhacker platform. It runs Eventhacker services directly on site, inspects network and lighting infrastructure, collects operational data and synchronizes securely with the Eventhacker Master Server.
Collects topology data and inspects switches, routers, access points and reachable SNMP-capable devices.
Detects universes, nodes and connected lighting infrastructure across production and lighting networks.
Maintains an encrypted VPN tunnel with device-specific identity and controlled remote management.
Local services continue running. Data and telemetry are queued and synchronized when connectivity returns.
Provides a local API endpoint for Eventhacker services, devices, agents and future hardware modules.
Uses an SDR software-defined radio stick to support communication monitoring, transcription workflows and real assistant functions for event operations.
Planned Xchanger view for SQQ10-oriented checks of stage infrastructure: network planning, documentation, addressing, VLANs, DHCP, switching, redundancy, monitoring and Dante/PTP/multicast behavior.
